The Brazilian filmmaker and friend of the Brazil LAB Estevão Ciavatta gave a testimony on the perils facing Amazonia today. During a visit to the Munduruku indigenous community by the Tapajós River, Ciavatta presented and discussed his documentary film Amazonia: Anonymous Society. 

On October 17th, 2019 the Brazil LAB’s Annual Conference –– Amazonian Leapfrogging –– will start with a screening of a short film by Ciavatta, Amazonia: The Last Frontier, followed by a discussion with him and Beto Veríssimo (Imazon).
